OI&B is a musical project based in Italy that has the goal since its beginning sixteen years ago, to interpret and share the great repertoire of Italian Artist Zucchero “Sugar” Fornaciari.

The band led by Christian Garbinato is composed by skilled musicians and has earned an important role in the live music environment both in Italy and throughout Europe (Austria, Switzerland, England, Germany, France, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Slovakia) working with great brands such as: Pirelli, Harley Davidson, Ferretti, Porsche, Lexus, Audi, Axa and many more.

The brand new “Books Tour” is about to start. It will be the band’s sixteenth year on the road and it will be celebrated in a proper way: well studied and exclusive scenography, accurate musical selection, and a huge lot of human energy and passion!

Coming back from the previous “Symbols Tour” with more than 150 shows and an average affluence of 200.000 people during the shows, having demonstrated a high charisma on stage, and providing a top quality musical offer, Oi&B are known to be “The Zucchero Celebration Band” and got rid of the overrated “Tribute Band” label. A captivating mixture of sound, light and colors is the main recipe that drives the audience in a wonderful storm of emotions, spacing from wild rythms to bluesy ballads, managing to maintain a coherence of style and being also able to respect the role that is required.

The band has been awarded many times by multiple personalities for its work, the most important award came form “Sugar” himself, who requested the band to play with him in Bologna, during the international Fan Club meeting. In that occasion, Oi&B shared the stage with other big Italian artists such as: Dodi Battaglia, Maurizio Vandelli and Fio Zanotti.

Oi&b is a 8 – element – band. All members are professional musicians. The band often enrolls distinguished and important guests during their shows, as it has been for ’80 pop music icon Mr. Paul Young who sang in duet with Christian in Silverstone (UK) one of the most successful songs that made Zucchero famous worldwide “Without a woman” and then played together with Oi&b his most famous hits such as “Eevrytime you go away”, “Love of the common people” and many others. It s very common for this band from Padua to share the stage with great artsist such as: Lisa Hunt (Zucchero’s back vocalist) Alexia, Paolo Belli, Irene Fornaciari, Gospel Choirs and String Orchestras. This is proof of great dynamism and constant research in order to offer always interesting shows to the audience.
